Thanks for the ideas!

I do believe I'll change the wording on one of the craigslist ads, and my southeast texas dot com ads to reflect about monies collected toward the hurricane effort.

Across the street has power (neighbor brought back our generator...we were sharing, them during the day, us, during the night) so I'm able to hook up the computer and some fans. It is about 81 in the house right now. I typically keep it at 79/80 during the day.

We had the most damage in our neighborhood. We will need to replace our entire roof. One of the relief efforts will be coming around free of charge to place a blue tarp on our roof. It is a The Samaritian's Purse" effort, so I'll probably have part of the monies go toward that.

Any other ideas from others on hurricane relief organizations? Thanks!
