new class no students
In teaching classes for pre-teens, I built from two students to 10 and taught them for over 3 years every Thursday! What I did initially was contact the local school close to the studio. The first two students were invited to "bring a friend for free" to the last class of the session. Those friends stayed, then the next session they all "brought a friend for free" etc. It works with adults too - no everyone stays on, but the news travels and eventually the classes grow.
