Default Scriptlance Questions

Hi Sara & Harlan,

That was some great feedback in the other post!

I'll probably comment on it later but for now I've just got a quick question and I'm posting a new thread

because it concerns Scriptlance and I'll probably have a few more questions later on it.

You or maybe Harlan would know the answer to this one.

I've never used scriptlance. If I outsource to scriptlance, am I obliged to choose someone and go through with it?

Can I change my mind or once we put something up there do we have to pay someone?

Can I just let the ad run through without choosing anyone if I don't see anything that grabs me?

More coming!

Blessings!

Jason

Hi Harlan & Sara,

A few questions to get your opinion on how you would do websites?
Is it a good idea to have two separate websites one for private and another for classes?

I know for privates you suggest not to put prices on the website, but what about for public. Do you recommend not putting prices as well?
What about Class schedule's?

Or do you think it's better we not give too much info and get them to call us? So we can build that personal connection on the phone, and focus on starting to build the relationship.

Also regarding outsourcing website to Scriptlance:
Will I be able to edit or change information on the site easily later or will I be dependent on the guy who built it for every future change I make?
(I have frontpage and dreamweaver)

Namaste!

Jason

First, you are under no obligation to chose anyone.

Second, there's an old expression called GIGO - garbage in, garbage out.

If you give high quality instructions, you'll get high quality bids.

The programmer I use most is deepsniti. He is one of the top programmers and you can see in the feedback I've given him.

Be clear on what you want them to do before you post.

Deepsniti has a whole team working under him. I recommend him highly.

If they do the work for you and they have followed your direction, you are ethically obligated to pay them.

Hope that helps.

Peace.

Harlan
