hi Harlan & Sara -
I was hoping you'd take a look at the Craig's List ad before I post it - I culled (i.e., stole) it from many of of the posts here, and added a bit of my own. I also have a question - I would like to target political activists, a group which makes up a huge population where I live, for yoga geared toward staying peaceful while being politically active. However, I am struggling with the opener. Somehow, "The Secret To Staying Calm While Fighting The Man" doesn't really work. Or maybe it does... I'd love any thoughts you have. In the meantime, here is my craig's list ad. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into this site. It is much appreciated! Very good for a first attempt. Test it.
As far as a subject line for political activists... and not that I consider that a good market.... I would go with... Gandhi's Inner Secrets To Resistance. Good luck. Harlan

Ooh, Gandhi. Brilliant. Thank you.
Where I live, in Humboldt County, Ca, everyone's a left-wing political activist. We're famous for it up here (well, that and pot...). Green Party has the biggest constituency. Almost all of the workshops, classes, meetings, successful businesses up here have some sort of left-wing agenda. It can get a little annoying even for someone like me who tends to agree with a lot of the politics. But it's a sure-fire sell if it's done right. I always tell people that in Los Angeles, I was the Venice Beach hippie chick. Up here, I'm practically a yuppie. Thanks for all your help! Lori |
