Namaste Harlen.
I read your advice to someone advertising in Craigslist in your most recent newsletter which went as follows:
First rule of Craigslist is never tell them up front it's yoga. They are making a decision without any information. Also, your headline is too long. What does "best body" mean?
Try: Secrets To Mind Body Fitness or Increase Your Focus and Tone Your Body or Secrets To Six Pack Abs With Zero Stress
My question is why you don't say up front that it's yoga? I am guessing that lots of people are looking specifically for yoga. Or if a perspective client is looking for something to tone their body, what is wrong with "Tone your body through yoga"?
I've never advertised on Craigslist, so I don't know the ins and outs of what works and what doesn't work, but I'm just wondering why the direct approach is wrong. I know you always talk about "benefits", but once again, why not "Increase your focus with yoga."
Thank you,
Douglas
