Hi Sara and Harlan,
1. If I leave my number on Craigslist any ideas on a what to say for an effective message to leave when I can't take the call? 2. What if it's my personal phone number that I'm leaving? Would you recommend getting a separate line for this? I would like to hear what you recommend. Thank you. Jason |

Dear Jason,
Welcome to our site. I am so glad that you have found us and I know you will find some very valuable information that will help you grow your business. I only have one telephone line and that is my home and business line. I don't think it is necessary to get another line for your clients unless you prefer to keep things totally seperate. If you own a studio, then yes for sure you should have a seperate business line. In regards to your message on your phone. I think as long as you include that you are a yoga teacher, the name of your business and ask for a name and return number and add a bit of your personality, then that's good. My own message on my phone is something like this: Hi. You have reached Sara Varona Yoga and I am currently away form my phone or with a client. Please leave your name and number and I will return your call at my earliest convenience. Have a beautiful day. Peace. short and sweet. This way people know they have called the right person. All the best to you and Good luck with all the new stuff you got going on. stay on fire and progressive. Namaste, Sara ![]() |
