Hello,
I'm happy to share that in the current issue of FitYoga, there is an good article (that maybe Harlan, can quote in a future craigslist ad..hint, hint) about the different findings/articles about Yoga CAN help you lose weight. I know that I've had to defend the benefits of yoga, due to a "finding" from Texas State University... "But a new study has found that while the eastern-inspired stretching regime is good for getting your body supple, it offers only half the physical benefits of a light to moderate walk. Nor does yoga on its own produce enough cardiovascular benefits as aerobic activity, and it is not enough to help control weight, researchers at Texas State University have found." This finding was done with a gentle hatha yoga class. I'm please to see the FitYoga article staking claim that Yoga CAN help you lose weight. The article isn't online yet, so yes, you'll have to go out on the newstands and get the magazine. Gaileee p.s. I think this article was based on the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. And that article is refered to, in one of your craigslist ads....Good stuff!
