Question Question for Sara (and Harlan can pipe in)

I just received the April newsletter and am left with a few questions.

In your phone call with Robin you tell her that weight loss won't be instantaneous, but will come in time. This is my personal experience too. However, in the provided ad Harlan loses 4 pounds the first week and 2-3 a week afterwards. What did you do with him those first weeks??? He sounds very out of shape initially, so I doubt you let him sweat through a power yoga session. I am really curious as to what your approach was and to what you contribute the dramatic results.

And I was wondering that if it is ok to use Harlan's personal success story for a craigslist ad, can we put him as a testimonial on our webpage as well?

She tortured me.

Really.

I was really out of shape.

We did yoga - it wasn't close to power yoga. And we did light cardio.

Also, Sara analyzed my eating and basically dictated a food plan.

On top of that - it was the first time I had ever started doing exercise every day.

The weight started melting off.

I eat very healthy now. Large salads, protein, vegies, and no carbs after 6 PM.

And now I do 3 hours of yoga a day.

As far as testimonials go, you may use the Craigslist ad as written but you may not use it on a website.

Peace.

Harlan

Question Every day?

Most people want to start private sessions once a week. Did you immediately start with every day, or did she give you homework?

I started once a week and was there for a few months.

I was in really bad shape and yoga sessions consisted of me trying to distract myself and Sara trying to keep me focused.

Once I went to doing yoga every day, I started getting immediate results.

At this point, it's almost a year of doing yoga intensively with Sara and
it's a full dripping with sweat power yoga class.

Now, Sara gets most people to start with two sessions a week.

Namaste.

Three hours a day? Wow! I'm curious now too....How much yoga at a time do you do in one sitting? Two 1.5 sessions? 3 hours at a time, 3 one hour sessions? Are you "still" in any of your yoga?

I know for me that I've lost 10 lbs since the beginning of the year, since I've gone to daily exercising (yoga for 3 of those days, swimming for 3 of the days), and modified diet too. But I'm still nursing a baby, so it takes time.

Mondays through Fridays - I do 1.5 hours in the morning and again in the afternoon.

Sundays just 1.5 hours in the AM.

Saturday is my off day.

I also do cardio 5 days a week for 30 minutes.

I'm very close to my desired weight now.

Not too much more.

Peace.

Harlan
